You can further protect the outside with a micro-porous paint, allowing the timber to breathe, but at the same time doesn’t allow water to penetrate, thus ensuring a waterproof yet breathable protection.

Verandas offer the option of sitting out in the garden but being sheltered from some of the elements at the same time. Our verandas can be made from the same wall thickness as your log cabin which makes them very sturdy.
